Hulled black walnuts
juglans nigra
The walnuts have had the husk removed and then the nut in the shell was air dried 6 weeks using our two step curing process. These nuts were harvested in 2006 and have retained their excellent taste and nutritional value. Used by our family as a topping on pumpkin and sweet potato pies, and also added to porridge for flavor. Sold by the bushel. Smaller amounts available.
Raw Honey
Wildflower mix
We let the bees pack at least two shallow supers per hive before we perform the season's first extraction. This means that nectar from a variety of trees and plants are usually mixed into a rich, dark, wildflower blend sure to please your sweet-tooth. We do not heat our honey, so you get all the natural, nutritional benefits that raw honey provides.
Eggs
Ungraded Eggs
Mixed sizes and colors
Our hens are a mixed flock of heritage breed birds. We hand gather all of our eggs into one basket and box them unsorted. This means that each egg carton may contain a mix ranging from medium to jumbo size, and shell colors ranging from buff to dark brown to green. No matter the color or size, all of our tasty, farm fresh eggs are from contented, well treated, pastured hens raised without medication or growth hormones or stimulants.
